How Videri Counseling Expressions Began

From the get-go, I wanted to create a space for deep, authentic healing—one that moves beyond traditional talk therapy and into the realms of presence, creativity, and intuitive connection.

After years of working in rigid mental health systems, I saw how both clients & clinicians felt disconnected from themselves, their relationships, and their deeper sense of meaning. Therapists are often conditioned to show up as the “expert,” prioritize others’ needs over their own, and push through burnout in service of their clients.

But what if healing isn’t just something we facilitate for others, but something we must also experience for ourselves?

The name Videri—meaning “to be seen”—captures the heart of this work. Healing begins with being truly seen, without the need to perform, prove, or fit into a box of rigid expectations. At Videri Counseling Expressions, therapy is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, exploring the impact of trauma, identity, spirituality, and relationships in a way that feels empowering and restorative.

The Mission

Videri Counseling Expressions exists to provide conscious, trauma-informed therapy for individuals and clinicians seeking deep healing, self-trust, and freedom. I specialize in supporting:

  • Therapists & mental health professionals navigating burnout, self-doubt, & professional identity shifts

  • The queer community seeking affirming, identity-affirming therapy

  • Survivors of religious trauma and spiritual abuse reclaiming autonomy and belonging

  • Individuals healing from complex PTSD, sexual trauma, and family-of-origin wounds

I believe that healing is not just a mental process—it is emotional, relational, spiritual, and embodied. My work integrates mindfulness, creative expression, nervous system regulation, and somatic awareness to help clients—including fellow clinicians—reconnect with their bodies, intuition, and sense of purpose.

At Videri Counseling Expressions, therapy is more than just talking—it’s an experience of transformation. You don’t have to navigate healing alone. Whether you’re a client seeking deeper healing or a clinician in need of your own space to process, reflect, and reclaim your energy, this is a place for you. Here, you are invited to not just process your past, but to step into a future where healing is not something to complete—it’s something you embody.
